Research Associateship in French at University of Leeds( Œuvres complètes de Voltaire)Applications are invited for a part-time, fixed-term Research Associateship in French at the University of Leeds.The Research Associate will be based in the School of Modern Languages and Cultures at the University of Leeds and will work in close collaboration with Professor Russell Goulbourne in co-editing volume 83 of the critical edition of the Complete Works of Voltaire (Oxford: Voltaire Foundation), devoted to Voltaire’s undated poetry.S/he will work with Professor Goulbourne in preparing the critical edition of the poems and will gain comprehensive training in critical editing.With a PhD in a relevant subject submitted before taking up the post (or equivalent relevant professional experience), the successful applicant will be familiar with research in early modern French literature and will be able to demonstrate fluent language ability in both English and French.Part-time, 50% of full-time equivalent.
